-You can learn how to cook authentic Thai food, the same way we cook in Thailand. -These are not classes designed from the pages of a Thai cook book, but rather techniques that have been passed down in my family from generation to generation. -Learn how to cook rice perfect every time. -Grill chicken satay on bamboo skewers with delicious peanut sauce. -Make Thai soups better than they make in restaurants. -Learn how to make a variety of Thai desserts.
The best part is that you can learn all of this, and more without having to leave your own home! -You can have your class at a time that best suits your own schedule. -At the end of the lesson, you get to enjoy a wonderful dinner that YOU (and your "class mates") prepared! Classes can be held for an individual, or a small group. Below, you will find an example of a typical class: After you have contracted a date for your class, we will determine whether or not you will be shopping with me at the Asian market. If you decide to shop for the ingredients with me, we will schedule a mutually convenient time, either the night before, or the day of your scheduled lesson. If you decide not to go to the Asian market with me, I will make a list of the necessary ingredients, and tell you where to go to find them in the future.

Yes, you can order out from your favorite Thai restaurant, but you won't receive half the attention to detail, not to mention the incredible authenticity and flavor of Belle's personally prepared Thai meals. This is not a "menu-made-to-order", but rather a specialty service. You call, talk to Belle personally, and tell her what you are in the mood for (seafood, chicken, beef, rice, noodles, curry, etc.) Belle will offer suggestions, and together, you will come up with a 2-4 course meal certain to make you the envy of all those attending your dinner party!
Thai traditional dance is one of the truly graceful aspects of the country, and is quite symbolic of the Thai character itself. To see these beautifully costumed ladies and men patiently miming the ancient stories, which were originally developed and performed as entertainment for the royal court is a treat that makes even modern audiences feel privileged. The form is very strict, employing 108 basic movements and keeping the body upright from the neck to the hips, moving up and down using only the knees, and stretching to the rhythm of the music. A great deal of symbolism and importance is displayed in complex and beautifully executed finger and hand movements. Sometimes six-inch, specially designed finger nails add to the effect and complement the splendour of the spectacularly ornate costumes.
